Recently, Shiraz Boghani was recognized by the Asian Business Awards as the Hotelier of the Year. The Asian Business Award program was founded on the principle that organizations which are demonstrating core business values through product innovation and employee engagement should be recognized. The prestigious Hotelier of the Year award reflects Boghani’s tireless pursuit in the hotel and hospitality industries. Awards are judged by industry experts including investment banker Jitesh Gadhia, as well as the group managing editor of AMG Kalpesh R. Solanki. Splendid Hospitality Group’s CEO Stuart Bailey claimed that “Shiraz Boghani has played a leading role in elevating the company to its current status as one of the fastest developing private hotels within the UK.” As a qualified accountant, Boghani owns and manages over 18 trading hotels throughout the United Kingdom being a pioneer of limited service hotels since the 1990’s.
Boghani’s recent endeavors also include the establishment of an awe-inspiring one hundred and twenty-one million pound Hilton London Bankside hotel. Boghani’s extensive portfolio of hotels already includes Holiday Inns, Grand Hotel & Spa’s, Mercure Bristol Brigstow Hotel and New Ellington.
